Miranda has her own occupational therapy practice based in Mesa, Arizona and is a StandStrong partner.
Miranda received her professional clinical doctorate in occupational therapy from Creighton University in 2006. Miranda has a strong interest in research and development in clinical settings and has participated in many studies. She prides herself on treating patients with complex traumatic hand and upper extremity injuries. Miranda's professional interests include community-based occupational therapy and community prevention programs including fall prevention. Miranda is also a certified hand therapist and treats patients with complex traumatic hand and upper extremity injuries. Miranda has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Mayo Clinic and currently is an adjunct faculty member at Northern Arizona University.
Miranda is the mother of two daughters who keep her busy when she is not treating patients. Miranda also enjoys traveling and has accompanied her mother on bow hunting trips throughout the world.
