About John

John Blankfield has been practicing physical therapy since 1983, following graduation from the University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Physical Therapy. He has provided pediatric Early Intervention services, Waiver services for developmentally delayed adults, PT services for inmates in two correctional facilities and in multiple nursing centers and rehabilitation hospitals, and a transformative 4 year experience providing rehabilitation services primarily for children in an Ethiopian and Eritrean refugee health program in eastern Sudan.

John continues to provide direct patient care services including home PT services during the Covid-19 pandemic and he has the needed experience and equipment to protect the safety of his patients and himself.
